Sannidhi-Swanthana Center for Life Skills and Geriatrics mission is to transform lives by helping students with special needs realize their educational, social, physical and vocational potentials while preparing for adulthood. We strive hard to discover talents, cultivate strengths, conquer challenges, develop independence so that our students live independently at home and in community.
Living at calm and serene atmosphere surrounded by nature allows students learn to manage their work and organize their time. Our students also make new friends and lasting connections with peers.
The committed teaching and care giving team strives to develop the residual capabilities of individuals in the areas of self help, occupation, self direction, socialization, play and other related life skill areas. Round the clock monitoring of behavior, health and hygiene is carried out by well qualified rehabilitation personnels and professionals.
The prime objective of work readiness skill training program is to develop necessary skills required for performing competitive jobs and to offer support for self-employment by preparing good quality products with amount of profit. The adults with intellectual challenges are given training in generic skills, specific skills followed by the training in work behaviour.
The premises includes families of the special needs with geriatric services. Parents live with their ward along with other people as they found sannidhi is a perfect answer for “after me”. It is one of its kind of model where parents play a major role in the administration.
