Manovikash College of Special Education

Manovikas College of Special Education was established on 1st July 2015 by the Diocese of Ujjain as the Human resource unit of Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayata Samiti (MPVSS). It is the only teacher training college in Ujjain affiliated to Vikram University and the college has been operating with the approval of the Rehabilitation Council of India since its inception.

Initially, it was started with first batch of 14 Students, but today it has grown into an institution with about 120 students in four batches in courses like B.Ed. and D.Ed.

All those who have passed the special teacher training course from MCSE are serving with approval in many states of India and abroad. In ten years, MCSE has been able to contribute over a thousand special educators to society.

Experience with special children are very useful for new teacher trainees to gain practical experience along with theoretical learning. Therefore, for internships and practical, we send our trainee teachers to special School which operates adjacent to the college. Trainees are also sent to various therapy units that operate alongside to receive direct exposure.
