Lakshay Special School

We are a non-profit Organization which works for the growth and progress of the mentally and physically challenged children by setting up a Special School for them.

Inspired by great ideals of Swami Vivekananda, LAKHSYA aims at the welfare of physically and mentally challenged children. It had its humble beginnings in 1995 when it was conceived and started as a Special School by a family of dedicated souls on an experiment basis. And as it become a great success.
LAKSHAY started working on a regular basis from 2002 when it was Registered as a Non Profit making NGO under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 by the Registrar of Societies Government of NCT of Delhi.

For acquiring self reliance for the mentally and physically challenged children LAKSHAY provides the following facilities.
a) Social Education.
b) Help of Expert psychologist.
c) Counseling for parents and children.
d) Special classes for slow learners.
e) Special training for hyperactive children.
f) IT Education to Physically Challenged Children.

Further we are providing the mentally challenged children special educational services which include personal skills namely activities of daily living, social skills, functional academics communication skills and pre vocational skills which are basic to perform any vocational trainings. We are conducting parent counseling and home based training. We are also providing them exposure to various recreation activities namely Yoga, Music Dance and Drawing.

We have started the Organization with our own resources and with the support of friends and parents of our beneficiaries and with the active support from various trusts including your trust and organizations. We have taken some projects to give above mentioned skills and training and daily therapy. Further with your active support we are taking new projects and will inform you from time to time.
