Voluntary organization under S.R. Act. XXI/1860 in 1984. It is Recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Govt. Of India New Delhi. The institute has been recognised by Ministry of social justice & empowerment, Govt. Of India. AMRI is also affiliated by NIEPMD- Chennai.
