Description
Akshaya Kshetram is a charitable organisation, based in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, South India, which cares for and educates mentally and physically challenged people of all ages. As a home to about 100 residents, we provide a basic education and medical care through a range of therapies and activities.
Therapeutic Approach
In an area where there is little provision and often little understanding of disability, Akshaya Kshetram is a safe space where people with complex needs can receive the care and affection they deserve.
Love and Understanding
Our aim is to provide those who were born into challenging life circumstances comfort, love and support; to encourage others to show understanding to them too, and so foster a more caring and inclusive society.
