Daddys Home Special School

Daddy’s Home is a non-profit organisation that focuses on providing a safe, secure and empowering home for differently-abled children. Daddy’s Home Charitable Trust established the home in 1989, with the sole objective of working for the betterment of differently-abled children and elderly in Goa, India.

Perched on a hilltop at Gogol, Margao in Goa, Daddy’s home endeavours to ensure that differently abled children can live with dignity and security. The home has been equipped with the proper resources to ensure the differently-abled community can overcome marginalisation and social injustice.

Daddy’s Home has also undertaken the construction of a home for the older generation, which is ideal for elderly people who are alone, face health problems and are in need of assistance. We extend support and provide care and a home for the elderly who have been neglected.

The humanitarian venture, Daddy’s Home, is the brain child of Fr. Valmiki Dias, who founded the charitable Trust and has been raising funds through sponsorships, owing to the generosity and kindness of friends and well-wishers.

Our endeavour is called ‘Daddy’s Home’, symbolising all that goes with strength, caring, sharing and concern of Our Father God, more affectionately termed “Daddy”.
