The association 'Ladakh Hilfe e. V.' was founded in June 2003 by Karola Wood and Johanna Klein and pursues the purpose of selflessly supporting people in need who, due to their physical, mental or spiritual condition, are dependent on the help of others or need material support. In particular, disabled children (and adults) affected by poverty in Ladakh, Nepal and the entire Himalayan region are to be supported. The support takes place through professional therapeutic offers, monetary donations and donations in kind, humanitarian support in the form of work assignments, development aid, teaching and sponsorships for children. We have been active in the region for over 20 years and have already achieved many of our goals.
