Thulir Special School, established in 2024, is located in Panaiyapuram village, Villupuram District. It is operated by the Thulir Charitable Trust, founded by Mr. G. Vadivel (Managing Trustee) and Mrs. Dhanalakshmi Vadivel (Trustee), who are also parents to a special child.
Their personal journey—marked by numerous challenges in accessing proper rehabilitation services for their son—inspired them to create a center where other families wouldn't have to face the same struggles. Thulir Special School was born out of this vision: to offer dedicated care, support, and rehabilitation services to children with special needs, helping families receive the support they deserve close to home.
