Arya Sughand Sansthan Ashram (ASSA) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the protection, education and empowerment of children. Nestled within 6 acres of rural farmland, ASSA is an oasis of love for underprivileged, orphaned and physically challenged children. Founded in 1992 by two visionary philanthropists, Kamlesh Arya and Dr. Ajay Veer Singh, ASSA is dedicated to protecting, educating, and empowering underprivileged rural orphaned and physically challenged children – regardless of caste or religion. Today, the ashram supports 140 destitute, orphaned and physically-challenged children and teenagers from surrounding areas.
Committed to a better future for the all the world’s children, ASSA undertakes work in fields as diverse as education, environmental care, social welfare, healthcare, and cultural and spiritual growth.

ASSA has evolved over the years to keep pace with the changing times. The old ideology of charity has been replaced with the core values of empowerment and self-reliance. In keeping with these values, ASSA provides children with education and training geared to ensure their overall development for a brighter future. The love and care these children receive allow them to maintain their selfrespect and dignity. Here at ASSA, we know that these young people are not a burden; rather, they are worthy individuals who can add value to our society if given the right opportunities.
