Description
National Association for the Integration and Rehabilitation of the Handicapped has started its first project School for the Intellectual disabled’ on 26 January, 1994. It was started with one Special Educator and 4 Divyang children. School provide education and training upto the age of 18 years. A section for multiple impaired children was added in the year 2005. 70 special students are receiving education with the help of 7 Special Educators. Services for the Intellectual disabled children were started in a rented building in 1994. All the services provided are free for the beneficiaries. No money is being charged from any beneficiary. caste, colour, creed, gender etc. is of no bar.
