Ashish Foundation for the Differently Abled Charitable Trust

Ashish Foundation for the Differently Abled (AFDA) Charitable Trust, is a non-profit organization located in Dwarka, west Delhi. We were established in 2007 to serve children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Often, people with disabilities are pushed to the margins of society, sometimes even in their own families. However, we believe that each individual has the ability and deserves the opportunity to contribute to the society.

To this end, AFDA also reaches out to the families of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in mentoring parents to be a strong support to their children/adults with disabilities. It is important for each member of the Ashish Team to develop their skills to best support the individuals whom we serve.
Therefore, we provide regular trainings, not only for our staff but also for other professionals.

All our work would not be of any use unless the community accepts, undergirds and supports people with disabilities to be valued members of society. We work towards creating awareness within the community around us. We also mentor several disability-focused organisations across India.

AFDA works towards a world where people with autism and other intellectual disabilities are included and respected as part of the community. We hope to achieve this through our various programmes and initiatives that empower individuals with autism and their families
