Description
Pushpa Khanna Memorial Centre, a Rehabilitation centre for children with special needs, was established by NLK Group of Schools in the year 2017 in fond memory of the great visionary and founder of NLK Group, Lt. Smt. Pushpa Khanna Ji to empower & facilitate kids with special needs. The multimodal rehabilitation centre, providing services like Occupational Therapy; Sensory Integration Therapy, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Learning Support, Early Intervention Services for School Readiness, Group Therapies, Life Skills Training, Pre-Vocational Training, Computer Training, Counselling, Psychological Testing and Assessments, and finally Inclusion towards mainstream schooling. It also runs as a nodal centre for providing certified training courses and conducts various outreach programs like Teachers’ Training (specific learning disability) and WHO’s Caregivers Skill Training Program. It also provides an internship facility that helps students put their education into practice.
