Welcome to Saint Francis Home, Pathankot, an endeavor to empower the mentally and physically challenged children through Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Counseling under the aegis of Saint Francis Home (REGD) Society, Pathankot. Though the Society was established in 1993 with the aim of giving witness to the compassionate love of Lord Jesus for the children with special needs, it took many years to achieve its objectives. However, the long delay in the execution of the Project turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Saint Francis Home Project had enough time to reinvent itself to meet the changing needs in the field of rehabilitation of the children with special needs as there had been a paradigm shift in the methodology of teaching and training the mentally and physically challenged children. So by the grace of God, today Saint Francis Home, Pathankot has become the only intuition with well qualified staff and properly equipped therapy centre in the region that serve the children with special needs from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. .

It has been the endeavor of Saint Francis Home to provide its services including transportation of the children from their homes totally free of charges to the children irrespective of caste, creed or even their economic condition. It is not because Saint Francis Home is endowed with any funds but it is a gesture of appreciation on its part for the brave parents of these children who lavish their love and affection on them, knowing fully well that in return they can expect nothing in their old age. Moreover, the majority of the parents are too poor to pay any fees for their wards and any attempt to charge any fee would result in depriving the poor children with special needs the only opportunity to improve their condition. Yes, Saint Francis Home, Pathankot is an adventure of love at the service of the special children of God.
