VASANTHAM, meaning “Spring”, was established on the 2nd of October 1989 with six children at Mogappair (East) on the outskirts of Chennai.
From this simple beginning and with continuous support from individual donors, corporates and institutions, VASANTHAM has now grown to the extent of taking 121 children and adults under its wing. VASANTHAM provides residential care support for about 50 of these individuals.
