Society for Empowerment of the Disabled (SFED) is a not for profit voluntary organization based in Moirang of Bishnupur District, Manipur which is 43 Kms. away from the Capital City Imphal. The Society has chosen Moirang as their area of operation as there were no organization in the area providing services for persons with disabilities , elderly persons and women and child development though the need for the same was great in the area due to poverty , illiteracy , inaccessibility etc.
